The best moment of the World Cup arguably happened after the final game. During an interview with his reporter girlfriend, Sara Carbonero, Spain's Cup winning captain, Iker Casillas, went for the gold. He grabbed Carbonero and planted a wet one on her, reducing her on-air professionalism to bumbling giddiness. It won over everyone, even Switzerland.

But that wasn't the only time in sports history that adrenaline and hormones have paired with king-of-the-world delusions for a moment of sheer chemistry. Kissing bandits have been stealing bases for years.

A few days after the Lakers won their 16th NBA Championship, Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets Tweeted the following:

"I heard if u hit a Kardashian u win a championship.. Kim K holla at me!!! I need ya for 17 min."

He also unselfishly said that, by doing this act, he would be "...willing to take one for the team."

NBA players get a bad rap for being selfish and egotistical. I think Ty proves that he knows how to be a real teammate.

What he was referring to, of course, was the fact that Kim Kardashian was with Reggie Bush when his New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl.

And now her little sister, Khloe, is married to Lamar Odom, who just helped the Lakers win the title.

So, that got us over here at B/R thinking: Who are the top 10 hottest lucky charms in sports today?

Just in case Mr. Lawson doesn't get one of the Kardashians.
