Sarah Palin Wants Levi Johnston To Disappear

Watches this Sarah Palin Wants Levi Johnston To Disappear

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston shocked the world when they announced they were engaged again. The on-again, off-again couple seemed happy despite Sarah Palin's obvious disapproval of their reunion. It's no surprise considering her future son-in-law has betrayed and bad-mouthed the Palin clan on numerous occasions. According to a Palin insider, Sarah has already threatened him if he ever messes with her family again.

"Levi did everything he could to destroy Sarah and her family. He has accused Sarah of being a bad mother, a bad wife and a bad leader. How can he walk back into their life like nothing happened? He should think again," a Palin insider tells me. "He may have won Bristol back, but he will never gain the trust of Sarah. She doesn't forgive and forget."

How to Have Great Phone Sex

We are see the How to Have Great Phone Sex

GALTime.com Love and Sex expert Dr. Jane Greer has a lot to say on this topic! She says, "Phone sex is a great way to stay sexually connected even when you're physically apart." OK, that sounds good in theory, but often people end up feeling like they're 'acting', playing a role and it's not always easy. (We're not all Vera Farmiga acting out the hot, sexy scene with dreamboat George Clooney in Up in the Air!)

"The key is to talk about what you like, what feels good, and what turns you on so that your words and tone of voice excite your partner," says Dr. Greer. Just like a strip tease in person... a phone tease works the same way. Let him know what you are wearing and then turn up the heat by taking it off a little at a time (or at least making him think you are!) Dr. Greer says the key is to DESCRIBE in detail everything you are thinking and then doing.

Worst ways to break up

Breaking up is never easy, and there’s only one good way to do it: in person.

We are see this Worst ways to break up

But there are all sorts of bad ways. If you can imagine a heart-wrenching, nasty, vengeful, or just plain insensitive way to break up with someone, the odds are someone’s done it. Here, for your painful pleasure, is a roundup of some of the worst ways to get dumped—from postmodern to classically tasteless.

By text. It may be the age of iEverything, but breaking up over the phone was never cool, so why would anyone think texting the bomb is socially acceptable? Yet an international survey conducted by the market research company Synovate found that 1 in 8.33 cell phone owners had dumped someone via text message, and 1 in 12.5 reported having gotten the bad news that way.

Seems more than a bit crass. But maybe it’s just a consequence of our growing dependence on electronic communication. After all, 1 in 5 respondents to the same survey reported having used text messaging to set up a first date. If you start that way, why not end that way?

10 Ways to Volunteer in Haiti

Watches this 10 Ways to Volunteer in Haiti

Six months have passed since the devastating earthquake struck Haiti — the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. While more than half of all Americans made donations to assist the Haitian people, many are deciding to do something more: To travel to Haiti to help. Could you be one of them?

As one Tonic reader who volunteered with Hands on Disaster Responsein Leogane, Haiti writes: "My wife and I just returned from a week there and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. It is hard work — I mean REALLY hard work — and the devastation in Haiti is heartbreaking. But the opportunity to help is also incredibly rewarding."
Builders. Nurses. Therapists. Translators. Teachers. As Haiti continues to rebuild, more volunteers than ever are needed for a variety of jobs. Below we've gathered a list of 10 volunteer opportunities that exist right now, with everything you need to know to get started.

Interested? Log on to the appropriate website. Make that phone call. Take that extra step, and get involved.

1. Hands on Disaster Response is running a rebuilding effort called Project Leogane in the town of Leogane through January 2011. "It is a wonderful organization doing great things for the people of Haiti," writes our Tonic reader. Currently, HODR only needs skilled carpenters, builders, and people with construction experience. Please contact info@hodr.org or click here.

2. From now to mid-August, the Colline Foundation, which was founded to build a top-notch school in Haiti, is organizing new groups of 50 volunteers each week for a 5-day stay (Monday to Friday) to help with relief work, translation, teaching, health care or with a number of programs currently being facilitated by NGOs. Check out their website for more information and to volunteer.

3. The Global Haiti Initiative, an intercollegiate clearinghouse for development programs in Haiti, has a few spots open for their August 14-21 trip to Haiti. They will be doing work in Port-au-Prince and Leogane, as well as building a health clinic. A member of Obama’s administration will be joining them. If you are at all interested, or know anybody interested, contact Jimmy Toussaint at jimmy@collinefoundation.org with the subject line “Global Haiti Initiative.”

What NOT to do: 7 ways to ruin your resume

We are understanding the What NOT to do: 7 ways to ruin your resume

In the time it takes you to read this paragraph, the average recruiter will have plowed through six resumes. (We know; we timed one.) Want to increase the chances of your resume making it to the next round? Then don’t do any of these seven things, which recruiters say — more than anything — make them want to push the “shred” button.

(For more resume tips, check out our interactive critique of an actual resume.)

1. Apply for a job for which you are not remotely qualified
Many candidates believe the job hunt is a numbers game — drop enough resumes, and you’re bound to land something. But shotguns are for hunting pheasant, not finding jobs. The reality is that recruiters hate wasting time on resumes from unqualified candidates. Morgan Miller, an executive recruiter at StaffMark, recalls the security guard who applied to be a financial risk manager (maybe Lehman should have hired him), while Scott Ragusa at Winter, Wyman talks of the aerial photographer who sought out a position as a tax specialist.

“Sorting through unqualified resumes is frustrating, unproductive and puts an extra burden on staff,” says Katherine Swift, Senior Account Director at KCSA Strategic Communications in Natick, Mass. “It also makes it much more challenging to find the right candidate.” So the next time you’re thinking of blasting out resumes to all 60 of the job listings on Monster.com that have the word “finance” in them , save your time (and that of the recruiters) and only apply for ones for which you’re qualified.

FIFA World Cup 2010 final: Bollywood stars set to watch the Grand Finale

Watches this FIFA World Cup 2010 final: Bollywood stars set to watch the Grand Finale

Mumbai: Soccer fever is at its peak and our Bollywood stars are all set to watch the biggest match of the year as Spain takes on the Netherlands in the 2010 FIFA World Cup final in Johannesburg tonight. While Bollywood actors like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already reached Johannesburg to watch the World Cup final between Netherlands and Spain, some football lovers from the industry had to give the match a miss.

Anil Kapoor had almost cancelled his plans.

Sighed Anil, 'Some work had come up. It looked like I wouldn't be able to go to Johannesburg, though I had packed and booked seats at the stadium. But, I finally did make it. I am the brand ambassador and this is the biggest sports event,' said Anil as he left for South Africa.

Another football enthusiast, Dino Morea, too seemed unsure of making it to Johannesburg. 'I'm in London, all set to go. But my air ticket is not confirmed, if it doesn't happen, then I'll just have to watch it on television,' he said.

The model turned actor is a huge football fan. 'I play football and I love watching the sport. I was supporting Italy as I am half-Italian. Now, I'm supporting Spain because they have never won the Cup,' he added.

The football fever has never been more pronounced in Bollywood.

Sanjay Dutt left his pregnant wife in Mumbai for the finals. He will be in South Africa with his two non-filmy best-friends.

'I wouldn't miss the World Cup for the world. I'm the hugest football fan. I place it above cricket in my scheme of joy. I watched the silliest of games in the Cup. For the finals, I had to be here (in Johannesburg),' said the actor.

Dutt is rooting for Spain all the way. So is Jackky Bhagnani, producer Vashu Bhagnani's son has apparently secured some of the best seats in the stadium for himself and his five friends from Mumbai.

Speaking from Johannesburg, Jackky exulted, 'Man, I've the best view possible! I could never afford these seats, they are among the best in the stadium. An industrialist friend from Russia got me these seats. I can't begin to express my excitement, I feel like an eight-year-old who has got his favourite toy. Me and my friends have our t-shirts, caps and flags ready. We're rooting for Spain.'

Adding to Jackky's excitement is the fact that this is the first FIFA World Cup match he's attending.

Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already tweeted about their presence in Johannesburg for the finals. However, Shah Rukh's best friend, director Karan Johar will not be able to attend the match.

Other football lovers from Bollywood who had to miss the event are actors Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who are shooting in Colombo and Delhi, respectively.

Katy Perry used telepathy to make Russell Brand propose

Watches this enjoy Katy Perry used telepathy to make Russell Brand propose

Ever wondered how Katy Perry managed to tame the ultimate ladies' man Russell Brand? Well, according to her it was all down to the power of her mind. "I was trying to make him tell me that he wanted to marry me telepathically," she explains. Katy says she stared into Russell's eyes every night willing him to get down on bended knee, and when they finally discussed the idea he admitted doing exactly the same thing. "He'd been trying to tell me that I was the woman he wanted to marry by communicating it with his eyes," she says. "All the time we'd been sending each other subliminal messages." Is this weird, or just plain cute? We're undecided.

Salman Khan is ready to play a widower

most populer hero Salman Khan is ready to play a widower

The cool dude Salman Khan turns a widower and a working class father of two in Mahesh Manjrekar’s Hindi adaptation of the Marathi movie Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho. No one had probably imagined the chiseled Sallu to play such a deglamorized role.

Surprising all his fans, the Wanted star has agreed to add some kilos to fit into the character. The movie is now being shot in Sri Lanka, in which Mahesh Manjrekar will be seen playing the role of his father.

The original Marathi film deals with a teenager, who loves to play cricket instead of spending some time in studies and Salman could easily connect with the role.

According to a source close to Khan, “As a child, Salman Khan also had a volatile relationship with his father Salim Khan like the central character in the film. He has shared his hatred for formal education and also the way he was beaten in childhood”.

Manjrekar added, “Salman loved the Marathi film. The film can open a new kind of fan following for this star as he never tried this middle class kind of film earlier. The cool dude needs to play a not-so-cool dad now”.

Hopefully, the cool dude image does not overshadow his new avatar and Sallu comes out with another hit!

People are reacting positively to I Hate Luv Storys – Karan Johar By BW Team

We watched being this new image enjoy People are reacting positively to I Hate Luv Storys – Karan Johar

Karan Johar and Co. has cracked it well with I Hate Luv Storys. The romcom is basically a packaged affair. Despite a thin storyline it has clicked at the box office with mega collections coming in over the weekend. Producer Karan Johar is, of course, happy with the state of affairs and clearly understands the factors that led to the film’s big opening.

“We never proclaimed that we were in the process of making some edgy, out of the world entertainer. The idea was to make a fun, young, romcom popcorn entertainer and we achieved that with IHLS”, says Karan in an excited tone. “We had to pep it with good comic and heart-warming moments and rope in good looking protagonists. Also, music was of paramount importance and Vishal-Shekhar did the trick for us.”

He denies that with the film, he and director Punit Malhotra were trying to break the cliché of conventional love stories. “On the contrary, we were playing with the clichés here”, he smiles. “See, people are reacting positively to IHLS because ever since Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa, there hasn’t been a movie belonging to romcom genre coming out of Bollywood. People were waiting to catch something like this and got it with IHLS.”

Talking about the dramatic elements that fill the second-half of the film, Karan says, “Yes, there was a little bit of drama but nothing was melodramatic or unusual. Everything happens as it does in the real world”.

On a parting note, one can’t help but ask Karan if he too truly believes that love stories in today’s generation have actually moved on from what they used to be a decade ago.

“That’s right”, admits Karan, “My parents saw a different kind of romance on screen. Later in 90s, there was a different syntax that came in. Today, it is different altogether. For quite some time, there wasn’t a love story which was reflective of today’s time. IHLS managed to fit that bill and hence it succeeded”.
