Salman Khan Gifting Expensive Watches Worth Rs.50 Crore

Watches this now Salman Khan Gifting Expensive Watches Worth Rs.50 Crore
Bollywood star Salman Khan, who has given watches worth as much as Rs.50 crore to his friends and family, has found a method of beating his expensive gifting habit. On his mother’s advice, he has asked his charity foundation Being Human to manufacture inhouse designer watches.

And the first proud recipient of the Being Human designer-watch was actor Aseem Merchant, Salman’s co-star in Boney Kapoor’s “Wanted”.”He gave me his the first Being Human watch. It’s awesome. Its look and movement are as slick as the super-exclusive Swiss Breitling watches,” Aseem told IANS.

“You’re right. He did say his mom advised him to find a way of cutting down costs on his watch-gifting habit. He gave me the watch and said, ‘Your time begins now.’,” he added.Apart from the watch, Aseem also received a Being Human shirt from Salman.

“He made me strip in front of him and try on the shirt. I really don’t want to talk about his generous nature. But I’ve been shooting with him for a year and Salman’s generosity is unbelievable,” said Aseem.Salman also gifted Aseem a role in his brother Arbaaz Khan’s first production which will star Salman and Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi, to be directed by Abhinav Kashyap.

“And since I play the main antagonist with Salman in ‘Wanted’, he said he wanted me to do a positive role in Arbaaz’s production,” said Aseem.Ironically, the real-life buddies are at each other’s throat throughout “Wanted”.

“And it’s not the choreographed, synchronized action movements we see in our films. Salman and I have real basic fist to fist street fights composed by a stunt director called Vijay from the South. Salman and I were fighting on the sets and drinking together once the camera was switched off,” said Aseem.

Rhea Kapoor stands out at the music release of ‘Aisha’

Watches this Rhea Kapoor stands out at the music release of ‘Aisha’

Despite not having a single hit in her kitty, actress Sonam Kapoor has made her presence felt in Bollywood with her elegance and style but this time it was her sister Rhea who impressed us with her subtle chic sense of style and poise with her first formal public appearances on Sunday, at the music release of the forthcoming movie ‘Aisha’. She chose the midway between a dire professional look and a young breezy style with a a pair of slim-fitted black pants from Alexander Wang, a white top from Zara and an asymmetrically-cut semi-formal jacket with white piping from Elizabeth & James. She completed her look with smart booties from Alexander Wang and earrings borrowed from her mother for the evening.
Made under dad Anil Kapoor’s banner, the movie has the honor of being Rhea’s first production venture. Rhea began her career as an assistant director with Ayan Mukherjee in Wake up Sid.
Bollywood stylist Rajat Tangri comments on the two sisters’ style funda saying, “While Sonam’s style is more out there and fun, Rhea sticks to understated and functional fashion. Their dressing styles clearly reflect the professions they have chosen. Sonam wears a lot of girlie dresses, pinks and frills just like a la-di-dah movie star. But Rhea is seen in pants and interesting jackets, quite like a young producer who attended school in New York. Even when Rhea has done the girlie dressing routine, on red carpet-outings with her family, she has stuck to the classic little black dress.”
Tangri adds, “What made Rhea’s style stand out at the event was that she chose the smart style of an uptown professional, true to her part as a producer. On the other hand, the cast of the movie - all girls her age, including Sonam, Lisa Haydon, Ira Dubey and Amrita Puri - wore feminine silk dresses and sequinned minis.”
Rhea had recently revealed her love for tailored trousers on Twitter, when she asked Sonam to get her some from Scotland. Sonam has been shooting in Scotland for Mausam with Shahid Kapur.

Anil Kapoor had almost cancelled his plans.

Sighed Anil, 'Some work had come up. It looked like I wouldn't be able to go to Johannesburg, though I had packed and booked seats at the stadium. But, I finally did make it. I am the brand ambassador and this is the biggest sports event,' said Anil as he left for South Africa.

Another football enthusiast, Dino Morea, too seemed unsure of making it to Johannesburg. 'I'm in London, all set to go. But my air ticket is not confirmed, if it doesn't happen, then I'll just have to watch it on television,' he said.

'I wouldn't miss the World Cup for the world. I'm the hugest football fan. I place it above cricket in my scheme of joy. I watched the silliest of games in the Cup. For the finals, I had to be here (in Johannesburg),' said the actor.

Dutt is rooting for Spain all the way. So is Jackky Bhagnani, producer Vashu Bhagnani's son has apparently secured some of the best seats in the stadium for himself and his five friends from Mumbai.

Speaking from Johannesburg, Jackky exulted, 'Man, I've the best view possible! I could never afford these seats, they are among the best in the stadium. An industrialist friend from Russia got me these seats. I can't begin to express my excitement, I feel like an eight-year-old who has got his favourite toy. Me and my friends have our t-shirts, caps and flags ready. We're rooting for Spain.'

Adding to Jackky's excitement is the fact that this is the first FIFA World Cup match he's attending.

Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already tweeted about their presence in Johannesburg for the finals. However, Shah Rukh's best friend, director Karan Johar will not be able to attend the match.

Other football lovers from Bollywood who had to miss the event are actors Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who are shooting in Colombo and Delhi, respectively.
